This is what you call a power couple! Woodworker and sculptor, Fitzhugh Karol and jewelry designer and goldsmith, Lyndsay Caleo have completely done it themselves. This team of Brooklyn locals remodeled, designed, salvaged and hand crafted their hearts out and I must say they should be quite proud. Karol went to town, creating everything from their dining room table, made out of fallen beech wood, to the built in assemblage art above the fireplace and between his also handcrafted cabinets. This, mixed with Caleo's eye for recycling scrapped gems and positive obsession over reaching the proper vibe for each room, makes for a showpiece of a home. In addition to their individual work, they collaborate on the interior planning and architectural design for the family-run business, The Brooklyn Home Company. That, I will have to show you more of on a later date. Their work is stunning.

[photo above: The interior/exterior plan, decoration, built-ins and custom work were designed and/or built by TBHCo's design team. Extra large double hung windows flood the home with natural light. The sculpture above the fireplace was made by TBHCo designer/sculptor Fitzhugh Karol.]
