today: 6 am screaming monitor alarm. banana bread on the porch watching rain with jasper all wrapped in a wool poncho. nick jr. horoscope telling me i like chasing phantoms. 2 hour nap. giant iced coffee. extreme hair cut. hunt for an unknown named succulent. no success. impulsive volumizing shampoo purchase. dockside hammock swing. transported and awed by arcade fires new interactive video.
I just plowed through this whole blog TWICE, and all I can say is "jaw dropping." Photographer Ditte Isager, Copenhagen Denmark native, drawn to NYC in 2006, produces such enchanting and captivating images with light softness contrasting rich hues...particularly indigos, slates, and grays. Capturing everyday life of bladesmiths, carpenters, chefs, artists and music producers, and shooting fairytales of circus princesses, ballerina brides, lighthouse yard picnics and deep forest treetop beds. And most recent, a spectacular display of fellow Denmark creative, Day Birger et Mikkelsen's AW 2010 collection (seen in the first four photos). You have to check her out, there is so much to love!
